This openback features a walnut stained, matte finished maple neck and laminate rim, paired with a fiberskin head and a rolled brass tone hoop to give it that classic old-timey sound. This banjo sounds like a much more expensive model and features the loving handwork of the amazingly adept luthiers of the Deering Banjo Company in California. With a dry crisp sound and nice projection, this is an ideal piece for clawhammer, classical, songwriting or whatever style you're drawn to - after all, there ain't no Banjo Police!
